INCA Internet (CEO: Young-Heum Joo) was awarded the ‘2010 South Korea Globalization Strategy Leadership Award’ by the global research firm ‘Frost&Sulivan’, marking the first Korean company in the information security industry to receive the award.
The ‘2010 South Korea Globalization Strategy Leadership Award’, which is sponsored by the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), was part of a brand globalization project for Korean companies. The final three companies were selected through in-depth interviews, globalization strategy workshops, and assessments from actual clients for Korean software companies with the highest technology and global competitiveness.
This project assessed the global expansion capability, global market influence, and global customer management of corporations, and INCA Internet especially recognized for its customer management and long-term customer management capabilities.
INCA Internet CEO, Young-Heum Joo, expressed that “with over 30% of INCA Internet’s revenue coming from abroad, INCA Internet’s innovational technology and customer management know-how is acknowledged by international customers.” He also added that “through the active efforts to form overseas partnerships including the creation of an exclusive International Business Team, we are expecting to see visible results within the first half of 2010.”
Companies selected as the Global Brand TOP 3 are further eligible to Frost & Sullivan Global Export Exhibitions, the opportunity for international partner formations, and promotional marketing services.
INCA Internet is aiming to reach 10 billion Korean Won from overseas revenues by 2012 and for this, has plans to focus its efforts to meet global competitiveness on a corporate level. Based on the success case in the Japanese market, INCA Internet aims to focus on the American and European market to procure a reference within the year.
